MARKET LEADER VOCOLLECT ACHIEVES $100 MILLION IN REVENUE IN 2006

PITTSBURGH – APRIL 24, 2007 – After officially closing the books on 2006, Vocollect, Inc., the world leader in Voice-Directed Work, announced today that it reached the $100 million revenue milestone – a voice industry first.

“Vocollect’s mission has always been to deliver outstanding performance, productivity and return on investment for our customers,” said Jack LeVan, president and CEO. “This significant financial achievement is built upon a strong, stable and consistent track record in successfully applying Vocollect Voice to improve work for hundreds of thousands of supply chain professionals over many years.”

Other firsts for Vocollect in 2006 included establishing Vocollect Japan, Inc. as a wholly-owned subsidiary and expanding beyond the supply chain arena through the creation of Vocollect Healthcare Systems, which provides Voice-Assisted Care products to improve documentation, communication and quality of care in skilled nursing facilities.

Vocollect’s business outside of North America continued with rapid expansion in Europe, which now represents one-third of the company’s activity. Vocollect Europe grew its core reseller business in 2006 by over 20 percent, expanded into new countries including Poland, Israel, Hungary, Greece and Slovenia, and reached the milestone of over 50,000 end-users. In Latin America and Asia Pacific, Vocollect continued expansion through its reseller network with major retailers in Mexico, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand.

“We owe much of our success through the years to the strong collaboration we have enjoyed with our many customers and resellers. And they count on Vocollect, as the industry leader, to continually open up new applications that create real value in the supply chain. Next month we’ll do just that when we formally launch another voice industry first, an innovation in open application architecture that is already proving to dramatically enhance how Vocollect Voice is deployed within corporate IT infrastructures,” said LeVan.

“Then two months from now, and continuing through the year, we will be unveiling proven, state-of-the-art Vocollect Voice applications on other manufacturers’ devices, bringing even more choice and flexibility to current customers and welcoming new ones to our rapidly expanding market,” he said. LeVan also joined with Roger Byford, the co-founder of Vocollect, to announce that Byford has been appointed chief operating officer. “Working with Roger, we’ll be able to build on our strategy for growth while he leads the operating team that is responsible for our success.” Most recently, Byford held the role of president, Vocollect Healthcare Systems.

“The year 2007 holds another distinctive milestone for Vocollect – our 20th anniversary as a company. In this 20th year of operation, we are as proud and enthusiastic as ever to be working closely with our premier global network of certified resellers and supply chain performance experts to deliver proven performance and reliability around the world,” Byford said.
